1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect information when you visit gianlucamazza.it. I operate the site as Gianluca Mazza, VAT IT04192460980.

2. Information I Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

  • IP address and browser information
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Referral source (including AI/LLM platforms)
  • Basic interactions with website pages

2.2 Information You Provide

  • Information you share with me by email
  • The quote request you send through the contact assistant: name, email, optional company, and the request summary you review before sending

2.3 Contact assistant

  • On the contact page an AI assistant (a language model, not a person) answers on my behalf. The conversation is sent to OpenAI to generate each reply and is not stored by this site; the site logs only technical metadata such as request time and outcome, never the content.
  • OpenAI processes the conversation as my processor, in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and does not use API data for training; it may retain it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.
  • A quote request is delivered to my inbox through Resend, an email provider processing in the EU. You receive no automated email; I reply personally.
  • Legal basis: steps you request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). I keep a quote request in my email for as long as the conversation with you is relevant, and delete it on request.
  • Do not enter sensitive or confidential information you do not want a third-party model to process.

3. How I Use Your Information

I use collected information to:

  • Improve website functionality and user experience
  • Understand which content is useful and improve it
  • Respond to inquiries and provide requested services
  • Understand aggregate referrals from AI/LLM platforms
  • Keep the website secure and reliable

4. Analytics and Measurement

I use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors reach and use this website. Analytics cookies are used only after you grant analytics consent.

I also measure referrals from AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, etc.) in aggregate to understand how technical content is discovered through AI-generated responses.

After analytics consent, Google Tag Manager may also load Meta Pixel for Facebook/Instagram ads measurement. That load is gated by Consent Mode v2 (analytics_storage). I do not use advanced matching.

After analytics consent, I also use the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel to measure conversions from ChatGPT Ads. The Pixel records two custom events: contact_mailto when you click a contact email link, and quote_submit when you send a quote request. This is browser Pixel measurement only. I do not send conversion events through the OpenAI Ads Conversions API from this site. Consent Mode grants analytics_storage only; I never grant ad_storage, ad_user_data, or ad_personalization.

This site uses necessary cookies for consent preferences and optional analytics cookies. You can manage preferences through the cookie banner. Types of cookies used:
